On December 17, 2012, the first report meeting on Luoyang Tourist Program & General Plan of Wanan Mountain was launched at Wanan Mountain Company in Luoyang. Mr. Wu Hongjie, member of the Party Leadership Group of Department of Land and Resources of Henan Province and director of the provincial center of land, attended the meeting.
HMD, BES International Consulting Group, AS&P, and Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Urban Planning and Design Institute Ltd. made subjective reports successively. The participants elaborated from different perspectives how to make full use of Wanan Mountain's strengths in location, ecological and cultural resources, land reserves, investment, etc. to vigorously develop the comprehensive industry of cultural and ecological tourism, leisure, creative agriculture, creative technology, and educational sports; and to, by the ecology-oriented, culture-incorporated, project-leading and industry-based philosophy, build a world-renowned tourism-oriented integrated demonstration zone with strong industry competitiveness, broad market radiation, and significant brand influence, thereby boosting the leaping development of the Wanan Mountain region.
