Wan'an Mountain Cultural & Ecological Tourism Development Zone

The project site covers a total area of 11,498 hectares and stretches eastward to Koudian Town, westward to Mountain Longmendongshan, southward to the south boundary of the new area, and northward to the planned south boundary of Yibin District. The project aims to build a new area that has close relation both within and beyond its boundary. With the project, the formats of tourism and other industries within the area are coordinated and the project's spatial layout is protected and restored to its original ecological patterns. Multiple hard-core agglomerations of different functions and levels are distributed on the main north-north functional axis and the development axis on both flanks for the planned multi-center structure. The entire Wan'anshan ecological preservation area is threaded using the hard-core agglomerations to drive the integral development of the area and stimulate the vitality of the entire area. The land plots in the area are divided with axises and a variety of functional themes are planned to build a north-south thoroughfare that connects the east and west of the area. The multi-axis linkage drives the well-balanced development of the region. Axises of various functional themes form a network, and areas along the axises are developed into urban areas of different functions.
