Using the local Hui-style architectural language of Huangshan and injecting local humanities, arts and artworks into design process, the project sorts out the space with concise lines and tones, and tries to create a delicate and modern new Chinese-style atmosphere. Its overall indoor design style emphasizes the unique aesthetics of the Hui-style, and absorbs the design concepts of modern life. The overall space can be characterized with four words, i.e., simple, elegant, plain and magnificent. Simple: fresh, concise and natural, taking a human-oriented design approach; elegant: graceful and delicate without complication, following a well-suited life philosophy; magnificent: grand and beautiful, conforming to no conventional pattern; plain: unadorned and tangible, absorbing the power of mountains and waters. In terms of spatial tones, it is fresh, bright and colorful on the whole. Its individualized, warm and modern design techniques have fully embodied the simple and elegant aesthetic advocated by the Hui-style. When it comes to furniture design, it takes the aesthetic of furniture from the Ming Dynasty as the base, and removes all complicated details to achieve a concise, fast-paced, magnificent and tangible design. Responding to the power of mountains and waters, it feels relaxed and silent. On the whole, its interior design concept is to perfectly integrate the nature represented by mountains and waters with the interior space, thus to create a “carefree mountainside hotel”.
