Xixian Water Town is located in Xixian New Area, a new area between Xi'an and Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. The balks, forest belts, ponds existing in the project site have been the basis for village growth.

It is required that the new design elements must be in harmony with local culture and natural resources. In our design, water from the Feng River is diverted to the project site to form landscape lakes and a circulation system to support the functional areas which, by virtue of the diverted water, form a natural habitat abundant in wetlands, ponds, agricultural fields, islands, and forests. Villages adapted to local conditions are built in line with the diverse environment there.
