Oriental Fisherman's Wharf

Oriental Fisherman's Wharf is located in Yangpu District and opposite to the Bund. Its design idea comes from perceptible wind. Land plots A and C form two open green spaces that are echo with each other. Land plot A is designed with a waterdrop-shaped building on its border and commercial main entrances on both sides as well as a conspicuous commercial entrance square. The waterdrop-shaped building integrates the ground facilities and evacuation stairs to form a commercial interface landmark that is in harmony with the island-shaped green space and the buildings circulation. Land plot C is optimized longitudinally and a barrier-free circulation loop is designed in line with the commercial design. The elevation of the sidewalks is reduced and integrated into the existing steps. The entrance circulation is optimized, the steps are designed with ramps to form a barrier-free passageway. The vertical landscape face of Floor B1 is greened to eliminate the sense of separation arising from the excessive height difference.
