The project is located in Caijia Clusters, an important industrial development axis of Chongqing City, and Caijia Clusters is one of the major areas that will be developed and expanded in the future in Chongqing metropolitan area.

The conceptual planning follows the idea of "be natural and sustainable". It is postulated in the very beginning of the design that the most characteristic landforms of the project site are to be saved and highlighted, in order to create a variable living space in this mountainous city. The design reduces the workload of excavation and filling at the project site and manages to retain the major mountain ridge lines and convert them into public spaces for pedestrians; the hilltops are designed in conjunction with the view corridors to become public green core. In order to highlight the project site's distinct features, the landforms and orientations of the hills and valleys are retained for building agreeable waterside pedestrian space. The existing ponds are connected to Jialingjiang River through the valleys. Moreover, artificial lakes are excavated at appropriate low-lying areas for building public green cores. Ecological corridors are established in line with the waterlines and mountain ridge lines to incorporate the landscape resources of Jialingjiang River in the project. Two major public cores are built in line with the spacious valley areas and hilltops to serve two residential clusters. The use of land is optimized with due considerations to the original regulatory rules in order to ensure all residential plots are provided with excellent landscape resources.
